Anne-Marie is an economist and co-founder and Executive Director of the Human Rights Measurement Initiative.
She is passionate about helping to bring about systems change, including through sustainable investing, and by combining data with narrative story-telling.
She has degrees in Psychology and Economics from the University of Otago and a Masters of Public Affairs from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, which she attended on a Fulbright Scholarship.
Prior to her jump into human rights, Anne-Marie worked as a senior economist for the OECD in Paris, and in the New Zealand public sector.
Her research interests are human rights and economics, peace, and sustainable growth.
As an Edmund Hillary Fellow, Anne-Marie is part of a network of global change-makers building solutions for positive global impact.
In 2020 she was a finalist in New Zealand's Women of Influence awards, in the Global category.
