Annalisa's current research explores the digital divide, political polarisation, post-truth dynamics, and the role of social networks and disinformation in the contemporary crisis of democracy.

She is also a public official working for a Regional Administration in Italy, where she is involved in the design and implementation of territorial and sustainability policies.

Her research interests focus on democratic innovation, collaborative governance, and sustainable local development.
