His current research focuses on the evolving link between the EU and national political parties, particularly the centre-left ones.
Ugur completed his PhD in Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge in 2024.
His previous works have been published in top international journals, including the Journal of Common Market Studies, the Journal of Contemporary European Studies, and Political Studies Review.
