Saskia's research focuses on democracy, gender equality, and women’s political participation, with a regional interest in Africa.
Her writing has been published in Foreign Policy, Just Security, National Interest, the Hill, and Open Democracy, among other outlets.
She currently serves on the board of the International Center for Not-For-Profit Law.
