Not for the first time, Italy embarks on constitutional reform

The Italian cabinet, led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, has approved a proposal to revise the Constitution, chiefly through introducing the direct election of the Prime Minister. PhD Candidate in European Politics, University of Exeter

Roberto earned a Bachelor's and Master's in Philosophy at the University of Bologna, where he specialised in political philosophy.

He then moved to Rome to pursue a Master's in International Public Affairs at LUISS.

At Exeter, he is working towards a PhD in European Politics with a thesis on EU expenditure policies in the context of the 2021–2027 Multinational Financial Framework and the Covid-19 pandemic.

His research interests cover European Union politics, electoral laws, and political institutions more generally.
