Her research examines anti-gender politics and feminist institutional resilience, feminist democratisation at the local level, and the integration of intersectional and gender equity approaches in public policy.
She earned her PhD in Women’s and Gender Studies from Rutgers University, and was previously a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Complutense University, Madrid. Her work has been published in leading journals, including European Journal of Political Research, Politics & Gender, Policy & Politics, and South European Society and Politics.
