Nonna chaired the French Political Science Association from 2005 to 2016.

She has been appointed to the National Consultative Commission for Human Rights (CNCDH) since 2015, and is co-PI of its annual Barometer on racism, antisemitism and xenophobia.

Her research fields are electoral sociology, radical-right populism, political participation, racism, and antisemitism.
