Nayara Albrecht argues that although the proposal claims to target privileges, it risks undermining the integrity of public administration. Nayara has over five years' postdoctoral experience at the Federal University of São Carlos (Brazil), Aston University, and Newcastle University (United Kingdom), and previously served as a civil servant at Brazil’s Ministry of Culture.
Since 2021, she has chaired the IPSA Research Committee on Politics and Business.
Her current research includes a project on the politicisation of public bureaucracy in Latin America and collaborative work on the use of data and artificial intelligence in policymaking.
Her broader research interests cover public policy, governance processes, political theory, and the role of data and AI in public administration.
