Maya is a PhD candidate in Global Sustainability Governance within the GLOBALGOALS project.
In this ERC-funded project, she investigates the steering effects of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals on international organisations.
Maya combines network analysis, data mining and other quantitative models with qualitative methods.
Maya obtained her MSc in Innovation Sciences, where she specialised in the evaluation of innovation and economic policies at the regional, national and international level.
Before returning to academia to start her PhD, Maya worked in international development, implementing and monitoring youth entrepreneurship projects in Africa and the Middle-East.
