Mouli is an interdisciplinary scholar researching legal narratives, political performativity, and meaning-making in and through political institutions in democracies.
Her recent and forthcoming publications look at reimagining political parties in constitutional democracies, politics and performance in parliaments, and democratic backslides in the Global South, with a particular focus on South Asian politics.
She has a PhD in politics and international studies from the University of Warwick, and has been an early career fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies, University of Warwick.
