Katharina Meissner is a political scientist working at the intersection of international relations / international political economy and public administration with an empirical focus on European Union public policy and external relations.
She gained her PhD from European University Institute in 2016, after which she became an assistant professor at the Centre for European Integration Research (EIF) and a visiting fellow at the ARENA Centre for European Studies. Since September 2019, she has been a 'Lise-Meitner' postdoc (project leader) at EIF, University of Vienna.
