Iris's research focuses on far-right protest mobilisation, anti-gender mobilisation, gender and extremism, and the politics of knowledge.

Her background is in media studies and sociology of culture.

She acquired her PhD in Media and Communication at the University of Oslo in 2020.

Her current postdoctoral project explores the ways in which far-right actors in North-Western Europe mobilise against gender equality via avenues of knowledge production and education.
