Gal is a doctoral researcher in political psychology whose work examines decision-making and public opinion in cyber conflict and hybrid warfare.

In her work, she explores the cognitive and emotional mechanisms shaping public and elite responses to cyberattacks, combining unique computational experimental designs.

Gal has conducted multi-method studies involving decision matrices and information-acquisition mapping.

Beyond her research, she is engaged in interdisciplinary collaborations at the intersection of psychology, security studies, and digital society, with publications and ongoing projects that aim to bridge academic theory and policy relevance.

Gal's research has been published in the Journal of Information Technology & Politics and on Political Violence at a Glance.
