Evangelos' research examines the European Union’s digital transition through the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act), with a particular focus on the European Parliament’s role in the Ordinary Legislative Procedure.

He analyses how ‘relais’ actors and preparatory bodies shape institutional positions during AI Act negotiations.

In addition to his academic work, Evangelos has five years' professional experience managing projects and framework contracts for the European Commission and EU agencies.
