This also applies to the BBC. The union flag is always displayed with the St Georges flag prominent and the BBC commentators refer to the Monarchy as "England centred" with our late Queen coming "home" to England. I live on the Scotland/England border and now avoid as much as possible going into England. The two largest supermarkets in Berwick both have very prominent displays espousing the benefits of English produce which are covered with Union flags. Clearly there is very little regard for the Union. I am personally offended by English national teams using the UK national anthem as an English anthem and their use of "Queen of England". Our late Queen had a Scottish mother. She also had more Scottish regal ancestors dating back through the much older Scottish monarchy than any other ancestry.
