					<description><![CDATA[Another, even stranger, phenomenon of the illiberal zeitgeist has to be the emergence of US technology leadership&#039;s active support of European ultra-right-wing political movements, from Alt-Deutschland to the English Defence League and Reform in the UK. One can&#039;t help suspecting that their motives are less ideological than they are commercial in nature.

It is also interesting to note that these new anti-European protaganists attack vectors are, rhetorically at least, strongly aligned with pro-Russian narratives.

The European project is now under threat from within, and from out with a new threat actor: US oligarchs.]]></description>
