It has been a pleasure to play my own small part in this project.

Democracy has for centuries been the central pillar for the advancement of human societies, and yet its study has long been sorely undervalued.

Rightly, much attention and support has been directed to the sciences of our Earth and its environment. The sciences of the democracies - how we may live together on this Earth- should be similarly attended to and supported.
